Service Description

The Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection Testing and Condition Reporting and Certification of Electrical Installations 'Core' The Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations This regulated qualification is for learners that wish to demonstrate their knowledge in the Initial Verification and Testing of electrical installation systems in the UK. The qualification is based primarily on BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and IET Guidance Note 3. This qualification has been designed to incorporate BS7671:2018 Amendment 2 (2022). This Regulated qualification is part of a suite of electrical qualifications including 18th Edition, Periodic Inspection (Condition Reporting) and a combined Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection (Condition Reporting) qualification. Pre-requisites: There are no formal pre-requisites to this qualification, but it is recommended that learners should have suitable knowledge of electrical theory and ideally be working within the electrical or a related industry. Learners should contact EMS Training for further advice and guidance on suitability to undertake the qualification. Assessment Methods: Assessment through work performance activities and written assessments Required Books and Literature are not included in the course price, but can be pre ordered by EMS Training at additional cost for candidates that do not provide their own.
